In all the activities of Soria, so predictable, so repetitive, find a group of over a hundred people, mostly women, divided by different people, who give their time to the workshop, it a fresh artistic and cultural interest to be commended.
Because Jaime's Garden Shop is much more than the meeting in a hall in front of the easel with palette in hand, a number of students willing to copy this or that painting of a renowned painter, or enlarge a photo taken of a particular landscape.
Students of this workshop, with Jaime at the head are always attentive to the various exhibitions in Spain, as in other countries, take place. And there you go, travel more or less organized, to soak up the art of it then pretend to be outstanding students.
The last and recently has been to Catalonia, Dalí Museum in Figueras included. Previously they had been invited by the Reial Cercle Artistic-Institut Barcelona d'Art, and on its behalf by the Vice Chairman, Antonio Ayan, who on a previous visit to Soria, namely Villasayas had been interested in the work of the workshop. There studies and model shared with members of the circle, were treated to a lunch, and is expected in Soria, for this summer, the visit of representatives of this unique and historic Circle, which is based in Pignatelli Palace, in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona.
Several times a year, the components of the Garden Workshop Jaime meet to exchange views and conduct cultural activities and artistic works beyond the fact of the use of oils and brushes. During this spring, and starting point, is hosting a meeting of students, many of them artists of right-on-the-Sarnago, which will be notified promptly. If there are activities that deserve attention and recognition, Jaime Workshop Orchard takes the cake.
